A great mountaineering backpack with lots of unique features found in much more expensive packs. The 3/4″ tubular steel frame is welded at all stress points and has rubber protective covers on each exposed end. Main compartment has a drawstring cover that snugs down the contents which are further protected by the elastic, adjustable lid that has a rear zippered compartment and two top lashing straps for jacket or bedroll. The pack also features two flap-covered zipper pockets on each side, center flap-covered zipper pocket and lower zipper pocket with cord-lock adjustment. Padded waist belt with mesh back, padded adjustable shoulder straps with sternum strap, mesh back panel and top carry handle round out the features of this deluxe camo backpack.
